Level 1
Our lowest level bed, meaning it has a lower intensity when it comes to the UV rays. Since it’s a low-level tanning bed, it emits UVB rays that can cause sunburn. This is a good bed for someone who wants to get a tan, but has a tighter budget and a longer amount of time to spend building their tan. The Sun Shack has 2 Level 1 tanning beds that are each 15-minutes.

Level 3
Level 3 and up are high-pressure tanning beds and can have up to 55 lamps. High pressure lamps offer lower amounts of UVB rays with increased amounts of UVA rays. UVA rays are the specific rays that bronze your skin. So, high-pressure beds give you a tan faster and the tan will last longer. The Sun Shack has 2 Level 3 beds: 1 stand-up that is 10 minutes and 1 lay-down bed that is 12 minutes.

Level 2
Level 2 tanning beds also have a lower intensity and UVB rays, but Level 2 tanning beds are equipped with arm lamps and facial lamps to cover the areas where Level 1 tanning beds can’t reach. Level 2 beds are also a great option for people who have a lower budget. The Sun Shack has 3 Level 2 tanning beds: 1 stand up bed that is a 10-minutes and 2 lay-down beds that are 20-minutes.

Level 4
The Level 4 is the highest pressure bed that The Sun Shack currently offers. The high UVB content provides for increased pigment build-up in only a 10-minute tanning session. There are also beauty Booster hyperRed facials, shoulder tanners, automatic climate control and air conditioning, aqua cool, aroma therapy, and a preselection system to choose your level of tanning before you tan.
